Prof Lee is an expert specializing in researches of stratigraphy in Hong Kong.

He also has researches on the fossils in Hong Kong, providing valuable advises on the geology of Hong Kong.

Authored books The Palaeontology and Stratigraphy of Hong Kong, volume 1 and volume 2.

Published papers in Newsletter of Geological Society of Hong Kong and other Conference about Structural Geology and Seismic of Hong Kong.
